The seven-time World Champion enters his second season at Ferrari and his nineteenth in Formula 1. Hamilton debuted with McLaren in 2007, won his first title in 2008, and went on to one of the most dominant runs in the sport's history after his switch to Mercedes in 2013, collecting six further drivers' championships and rewriting most of the major records along the way.
His 2025 move to Ferrari was the biggest transfer story of the decade, and while the maiden Scuderia campaign brought no wins, Hamilton set the fastest time of pre-season testing in Barcelona and arrives in 2026 with a year of red-overall experience behind him. The new regulations represent his clearest opportunity yet to add a record-extending eighth title.
